Yellowstone Trail Heritage Days May 14 May 14-16, 2010
Yellowstone Trail Heritage Days
Presented in partnership with Event Sponsors and local organizations Family Fresh Market, SSG Corporation, WESTconsin Credit Union, Hammond Hotel and City of Hudson!
The year is 1915 and the auto was gaining popularity although trains were still the only way to cross the states. A few ambitious folks got together and decided to connect the dots and this initiative resulted in the first cross continental road - The Yellowstone Trail. From "Plymouth Rock to Puget Sound," who would have guessed that this cross country road passed through downtown Hudson, WI!
To commemorate Hudson Heritage, the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau invites you to participate in the events commemorating the Yellowstone Trail. Look for the new Yellowstone Trail signage that marks this historic road. As you explore the historic Yellowstone Trail, enjoy activities already organized this weekend.
